Client Testimonials

“Phil started teaching classes for us at Holden Martial Arts in Massachusetts when he was in high school. He connected with all of his students, but paid extra attention and spent extra time with those students who were either on the spectrum, had a learning disability or low self-esteem. His greatest impact was on those who needed him the most.”

“Phil Kennedy is a phenomenal instructor. I was a student of his for over 4 years at a martial arts studio and would recommend him to anyone. Phil's energy and positive attitude are infectious, he can get you motivated and pumped up on your worst day. He takes his role as a instructor/trainer very seriously and points out the minute details that refine and sharpen your skills, he won't let you just get through what you're doing half way. Communicate your goals and he will get you there- with support, patience, and laughs along the way.

To this day, I remember classes he taught and the creative ways he made sure everyone in the class felt like they understood and were getting something out of the lessons.

No matter what physical goals you're working on or need help with, you'll enjoy working with Phil.”

“Phil was the best personal trainer I could have asked for. He asked what my goals were and set me up to hit that goal at the perfect pace. He pushed me to do things I didn’t think I was capable of doing. Still to this day, 3 years later, I find myself completing the same routines and workouts. They just work! Not to mention, I made a great friend too!”

"When my son was 8 years old, my wife and I decided to sign him up for a free one month of Karate. Two years later, he had received his junior black belt. As a father, I cannot say enough about what an amazing leader and role model Phil Kennedy was and is. Phil not only tought all his students correct forms and self-defense moves, but he created an environment that precipitated hard work, respect, goal setting, and a never quit attitude. Each week, I had the privilege to watch Mr. Kennedy push my son and his classmates outside of their comfort zone. This was done with an amazing amount of respect and patience for each and every student in his care. As a parent, I noticed right away the lessons on manors and respect being taught in class were carrying over at home. Phil is a great teacher and role model for people of any age. I highly recommend him as a teacher for any student young and old."

I have known Mr. Kennedy for almost 8 years.  He was an outstanding Martial Arts Instructor of which my children took part on a weekly basis.  Mr. Kennedy upholds high moral values of which he instilled in his students. His genuine love for helping others along with patience and modelling of good morals made him an Instructor never to forget.

As my children have turned into young adults, I sit back and see how the lessons they have learned from Martial Arts training, has helped them become strong, confident, caring, young adults.

Mr. Kennedy upholds the dedication it takes to provide meaningful experiences for all those to which he has taught and will continue to teach.  He possesses a friendly, easy to talk to attitude. Mr. Kennedy puts a hundred percent into all he endeavors to do.
